Alia Bhatt recently made headlines for her impressive performance in her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone, while being pregnant with her daughter, Raha. Her trainer, Anshuka Parwani, shared insights about how Alia managed to navigate this exciting yet challenging time.
Alia Bhatt’s Pregnancy Journey
During the filming of Heart of Stone, Alia could not have her trainer with her on set due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, they trained “remotely.” Anshuka noted that she usually wouldn’t train someone who was pregnant through virtual sessions, but Alia’s understanding of her body made it possible.
Anshuka expressed admiration for Alia’s determination. She said, “I don’t think anybody could even tell that she was pregnant during the shoot of the film or while she was doing those action sequences. Alia sailed through it like a breeze.” This highlights Alia’s strong mindset and commitment to her work.

Anshuka revealed that while training Alia was not simple, it became manageable with some modifications to her workout. Alia’s positive attitude helped her succeed despite the challenges. She saw her pregnancy as a “natural process,” which allowed her to stay focused and perform well in her action scenes.
Alia welcomed her daughter Raha on November 6, 2022. Since then, she has been sharing beautiful moments of her family life on social media. Recently, Alia, along with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and their child, traveled to Paris, where they enjoyed some quality time together. Alia also made a stunning appearance at Paris Fashion Week on September 23, 2024.
Looking ahead, Alia is preparing for the release of her next film, Jigra, set to premiere on October 11, 2024. In this action-packed thriller, she plays the role of Satya, who will go to great lengths to protect her brother, Ankur. The film’s trailer is expected to be released on September 26.
After Jigra, Alia will also star in Alpha, which will mark her entry into the YRF Spy Universe. Fans are eagerly waiting to see her in these exciting roles.
