Chris Hemsworth, best known as Thor, recently revealed that his children couldn’t resist interrupting his recording sessions for the new movie Transformers One. While promoting the movie, director Josh Cooley shared some fun moments from the recording process, which took place remotely at Hemsworth’s home in Sydney.

Cooley explained that Hemsworth’s kids often ran into the room during the sessions. As a dedicated father, Hemsworth would pause to attend to his children, even stopping to get them lunch. Despite the interruptions, Cooley described the experience as “super chill” and praised Hemsworth for being a great guy and a fantastic actor.

Hemsworth shares three children—twin sons Sasha and Tristan, and daughter India Rose—with his wife, Elsa Pataky. The actor revealed that before taking on the role of Optimus Prime, he consulted his children, who excitedly encouraged him to accept the part. In fact, during recording sessions, his kids were often in the background, offering suggestions or playfully trying to distract him.
Transformers One is set to explore the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron (voiced by Brian Tyree Henry), showing how they started as allies but eventually became enemies. The movie is scheduled for release on September 20, 2024. Hemsworth also hinted that he might be part of future Transformers projects, though nothing is confirmed yet.
