The teaser for the highly anticipated prequel series, “Dexter: Original Sin,” has been unveiled. This new series explores the origin story of Dexter Morgan, diving into his early days and the events leading up to his first kills.
Dexter: Original Sin Teaser
In the teaser, viewers are introduced to Patrick Gibson, who will portray the young Dexter. Michael C. Hall, who played the original Dexter, will return as the narrator and the inner voice of Dexter. Set in 1991 Miami, the show follows Dexter as a student struggling with his violent urges.

The series will showcase Dexter’s early life, his father’s code for targeting those who deserve punishment, and his internship at the Miami Metro Police Department. The show is created by Clyde Phillips, who worked on the first four seasons of “Dexter.”
The cast includes Patrick Dempsey as Captain Aaron Spencer, Christian Slater as Dexter’s father, Molly Brown as Dexter’s sister Deb, and other notable actors such as Christina Milian and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
“Dexter: Original Sin” is set to stream on Paramount+ starting December 13.
