Television actor Vikas Sethi, known for his roles in popular TV shows like “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,” “Kahiin To Hoga,” and “Kasautii Zindagi Kay,” passed away at the age of 48 due to a cardiac arrest. Vikas died in his sleep on Saturday night in Nashik, as reported by news agency PTI.

Actor Vikas Sethi Passes Away

As testified by his wife, Jhanvi Sethi, Vikas had had vomiting and loose motions after they got to Nashik, to celebrate a family function at the wife’s mother’s house. I could not go to the hospital which he did not prefer so they had a doctor visiting. Apparently, she said, “When I went to wake him up at about 6 in the morning on Sunday I discovered that he was no more.” The doctor said that poor Vikas had died in his sleep the previous night.

His mortal remains have been taken to the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai for an autopsy and cremation will also be performed in Mumbai on Monday.

Vikas Sethi is survived by his wife Jhanvi and the twin sons. He is best known for essays in ‘Kahiin To Hoga’ episode as Swayam Shergill and in ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ episode as Prem Basu, Vikas also did a cameo in the famed ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ where he featured as ‘Robbie,’ a friend to Poo (Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Television industry and the audience will miss this talented actor who introduced unique characters along with his talent to the screens.
