Doja Cat’s father, Dumisani Dlamini, is an actor and dancer from South Africa. He met her mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, a painter and clothing designer, during a performance of “Sarafina!” on Broadway in New York. Despite their initial connection, their relationship did not last long.
