In the final days of Claim to Fame Season 3, viewers saw an intriguing connection between Hud and Mackenzie. In the climax which provided for three participants Hud, Mackenzie and Adam the result was not in favor of the couple. But, their presence as actors on the show has grown and turned into a beautiful relationship off camera.

Hud and Mackenzie’s Off-Screen Romance
Having an opportunity to speak to PEOPLE, Hud and Mackenzie opened about their life together after the show. They both refused to give the status the official label of ‘dating’ but both agreed they are in fact seeing each other. Hud said, “We’re just chilling; we just wait and see. ”
Mackenzie also agreed to this, she pointed out that Hud has come to Nashville to visit her several times and she too has traveled to go and visit Hud. They both stated that they are happy with the way things are going in their relationship.
In the show first, the sweet sizzling of Hud and Mackenzie came out clear as they worked closely together. It was brought out by a montage that was accompanied by music October song, sung by Logan Crosby a contestant in season one of American idol. Mackenzie had previously made a joke on their affair that she was his love interest only on the show but it appears that the romance continued after the show.
Mackenzie and Hud’s families are also very instrumental in the celebrations that are taking place. Mackenzie’s both families are planning to watch the final episode together through a watch party in his house. Hud’s father is getting to Nashville for the event and Hud thinks that more than likely he could be the winner of the season. Likewise, Mackenzie’s father is optimistic, hoping that his daughter has won the show.
