Perry Kurtz, a beloved comedian known for his work on “America’s Got Talent,” has sadly passed away at the age of 73. The incident occurred late at night when Kurtz was struck by a gray Honda Civic on Ventura Boulevard. Emergency responders arrived at the scene but were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Perry Kurtz was a renowned personality in comedy and more so in Los Angeles, California. As years passed over, it gained identity in terms of style of lavishing dance and energy charged performances. He found fame attempting comedy rap on the NBC show America’s Got Talent where he included Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howard Stern as his characters. Kurtz has also appeared on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ and ’The Late Late Show with James Corden’.

Kurtz has also made guest appearances on television shows and has done improv comedy with Robin Williams in San Francisco. Before he got his own show, he was a fixture at the Comedy Store in Hollywood. He traveled a great deal within the comedy industry and was adored by most of the comedy lovers, he had his YouTube channel where he had almost 2000 subscribers.

Final Moments and Aftermath

In a video that he posted just days before his death Kurtz performed at The Barrel Tavern in Sherman Oaks, CA. Recent acts of stand-up comedy shows and music performances were aired on his channel and indicated that he was keen on his audience until the end.

The driver of the hit-and-run incident was identified as 18-year-old Nathon Jaimes of Lakewood was arrested on the morning of August 16, 2015 at his home. The case facing the man of felony hit and run involving death charges. The car left at the scene was also old and broken and nothing more is known about Jaimes’s legal counsel.
