Disney has officially announced that Frozen 3 will be released on November 24, 2027. This will continue the magical journey of Elsa, Anna, and their friends, a decade after the first Frozen film was released in 2013. The sequel, Frozen 2, came out in 2019 and was also a huge success.

Frozen 4 in Development
Besides Frozen 3 in production, Disney CEO Bob Iger, has also revealed that there is also Frozen 4 on the pipeline. Even though the details about the fourth film remain obscure, people are interested in the announcement.
With Frozen 2 hitting theaters we got to talk to Jennifer Lee, the chief creative officer of Disney Animation, and co-writer of the first two Frozen movies. In an interview made at the BFI London Film Festival in October 2023, Lee expressed the pleasure to work on the upcoming projects and appreciated the progress and collaboration with the teams.
Josh Gad’s Hint
As to future changes, even such characters as Olaf, voiced by Josh Gad in the Frozen movies, alluded to it. In The View episode aired in November, Gad let out that there are plans for two more sequels to the Frozen franchise after Frozen 3. His remarks indicate that more creative products set in the Frozen universe won’t stop coming, keeping the audience waiting for more products.
Frozen Expands to Stage
Besides the film news, there is another good news to address – Disney is preparing Frozen for the stage. A stage production of the animated movie will be available on streaming service Disney+ from next year. Samantha Barks will depict Elsa in this adaptation, which has been staged in Broadway successfully. This stage version will enable fans to have a feel of Frozen from the comfort of their homes.
