He narrated a particular incident during the time he was working with Swift on the song ‘Fortnight’ in the album The Tortured Poets Department. Taylor Swift was keen to avoid being captured on camera from the drones; she had to be carried under umbrellas and drapes to the shooting venue.
Such a story is quite similar to that of Post Malone, who met ‘Formation’ and recorded the track “LEVI’S JEANS” with Beyoncé, having been invited to her forum in Utah to record the track secretly because there were no leaks regarding their collaboration. Post Malone said that it was a terrifying process and said he was fascinated to know how it is to work under such a high level of secrecy.

Of course, having decided on the chosen career, Post Malone has a lot of respect for singers such as Taylor Swift or Beyonce. This album represents a new direction for the artist, showcasing his versatility and genuine interest in the country music genre. According to his guitarist, Derek Wells, Post Malone has approached this new genre with respect and dedication, asking for permission to be part of it. Wells praised Malone’s efforts, saying, “He’s not playing dress-up here.”
