Jack Karlson was full of life and many events in his life were risky and dangerous. Although it is believed that his real name was Cecil George Edwards he used aliases all his life. Currently Chris Reason, the journalist who covered the arrest of Jack in 1991 has tweeted the death of Jack. Chris said Jack Karlson was a man who did not let anything bring him down as he always had a joke to crack. The family of the young man also stated that he maintained his humorous disposition right to his last moments.
Before he died, Jack was a resident in the hospital to battle many maladies at an old age. On her side of the family, Jack’s niece Kim Edwards added that he attempted to flee from the hospital a couple of times. Before dying, his family managed to give him a sip of red wine through the IV that was in him. This was a man who loved life so much.
A Tough but Charismatic Man
It said Jack Karlson was quite clever and seemed to have a great deal of energy. This individual was able to successfully stage a breakout from some of the severe and strict prisons in Australia. But his childhood and his early life I believe you can describe as challenging. He was raised in the institutions where he learned abuse and bullying which shaped him into a tough man.
Heath Davis, another filmmaker who is currently working on a documentary about Jack noted that there is so much more that is not known about Jack. His account features a great escape from prison and it covers many years of his life but it also describes suffering. However, I have to admit that a person as a character was presented rather optimistically. Even though Jack faced many difficulties in his life, he had a good spirit and enjoyed life.
A Unique Friendship
One of the police officers involved in Jack’s famous arrest, Stoll Watt, remembered Jack as a very confident and charismatic man. Even though their first meeting was during an arrest, Stoll held no bad feelings toward Jack. In fact, they later met again and became friends.
