Late last month, country singer Jelly Roll paused his concert to help a cancer survivor fan with an IV drip find better seats. Fans praised his kind gesture online.

Jelly Roll Concert in Midland, Michigan
It was March the 39-year-old singer of the song “Save Me” was singing at the Tailgates N’ Tallboys country music festival in Midland, Michigan, and as a routine, he was scanning the audience when a “young lady” caught his attention. Jelly Roll made a video on the social media platform where the fan was seen and the singer interrupted the performance to have a conversation with the boy. This particular show, he said, he’s witnessed people stash drugs and cigarettes in their intimate regions, but never has anyone been caught with a VIC. The fan said to him that she has been diagnosed with cancer previously and has been cured.
The fan, whose real name is Jason DeFord, better known as Jelly Roll, asked for better seats for his team. He wanted her to have a chair and another better place to sit and watch the show.
Fans’ Reactions
People were glad to hear about Jelly’s sweet deed. Of those who responded to the post one commented, “He is one artist I have utmost respect for. He came from nothing. ” Another commented, “Love this dude. This was a heartwarming moment. He is so talented. ” A third person said only this – ‘Now I’m a fan of Jelly Roll. ’
This is not the first time Jelly Roll has assisted a fan, who is a cancer patient. In June the previous year, the James Bass Foundation revealed the errand of a 65 year old woman with stage 4 small cell carcinoma. In a twist and that was her final wish to meet the artist known as Jelly Roll and to watch him perform.
Making Wishes Come True
Jelly’s wife, Bunnie XO, saw the post and commented, “We can def make this happen.” Soon after, Jelly Roll and his wife met with the woman. Videos showed the singer and the cancer patient hugging and Jelly Roll playing some of his songs for her. “I’m glad I could come to visit you. This is cool,” he said.
