NBC Universal has officially announced that “Suits: L. A. ,” a new spinoff of the legal grill “Suits,” will be turned into a series. Well, lovers of the show “Suits” have been expecting this news and the positive response especially after the announcement on July 19.
Stephen Amell Heads The Cast
The new series will star Stephen Amell, who is well-known for playing the lead role in the TV show “Arrow. ” In “Suits: L. A. ,” Amell will portray the character of Ted Black who is a former federal prosecutor hailing from New York City. First of glimpse of Amell is that he is just comprising comfortably at his desk preparing for the new adventures. Amell himself has mentioned that this role is very different from what he has done before, as he has said it is ‘’talky-talky, not punchy-punchy,’ expressing that there is a lot of dialogue in this show.

Talented Supporting Cast
“Suits: L.A.” will also feature several other talented actors:
- Josh McDermitt, known for his role in “The Walking Dead,” will play Stuart Lane, who co-founded the law firm Black Lane Law with Ted Black.
- Lex Scott Davis will play Erica Rollins.
- Troy Winbush will play Kevin.
- Bryan Greenberg will play Rick Dodsen.
- Alice Lee will play Leah.
Plot of “Suits: L.A.”
The new series will depict the life of Ted Black, who will undergo a process of transformation in the world capital of show-business – Los Angeles. He will be defending some of the significant stakeholders of the given city. After a series of incidents Black, an ambitious lawyer, owns a law firm known as Black Lane Law, finds himself in a crisis and the time has come for him to take a position that he never wanted to assume in his entire career. This will put him to severe pressure and test his limits besides putting issues he has considered insignificant to the foreground.

The first couple of seasons in the “Suits” series were much appreciated by many fans for intense cases and unique characters.
