Their Past Successes

In 2019 Ayushmann and Raaj came up with the ‘Dream Girl’ comedy film which was a blockbuster. This was the biggest hit of Ayushmann at that point of time with regards to collections. Four years later, they released “Dream Girl 2” and the movie, just like the first one, did very well at the box office. These successes have fostered good working relations between Ayushmann and Raaj. ”

It was gathered that Raaj Shaandilyaa has completed the script for a new family comedy. Ayushmann loves this project very much. This new film is not a sequel to “Dream Girl 3” but an all new comedy film with an independent and hilarious plot. They are yet to have a narration session and it is believed that the script is barely weeks away from being completed.

Current Projects

At the moment, quite surprisingly, Ayushmann is quite busy while Raaj too is occupied. Currently, Raaj has a project called “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” in the making, and Ayushmann is shooting an as-yet-unnamed Karan Johar-Guneet Monga production that is a comedy. After that, Ayushmann will gear up for the shooting of “Vampires of Vijaynagar” in October to be produced by Dinesh Vijan.

When Will They Start?

If all the plans come to fruition, the shooting of the next comedy movie of Ayushmann and Raaj should begin in March 2024. They lack the time because they have other projects which they have to complete before they start anything else. Both Ayushmann and Raaj are involved and motivated to see this movie through to profitability.

What to Expect

However, known plot details of the new film they have planned are yet to be disclosed. Though it is used in context describing it as a splendid comedy that shall go well with all aged families. I feel that the back stories are simplicity embodied in the story as it is located in the core of India and has a totally unique concept. Both Ayushmann and Raaj are doing a lot to ensure that the script will come out well. They want to repeat that with this type of film.
