Eva Longoria Joins "Only Murders in the Building" Season 4

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria will be a part of Only Murders in the Building team in the show’s fourth season. She only recently spoke brightly about some new parts of her work that she aptly calls the best role of her life.

Season 4 Premiere 

A fourth season of Only Murders In The Building was announced to premiere on August 27. Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin are the main characters on the show depicting podcast hosts and aspiring detectives. In this season the audience will meet new settings – Los Angeles, and of course, more drama and comedy. 

Eva Longoria’s Role 

Many celebrities are happy to be part of the show and Eva Longoria is not an exception and she expressed happiness that she has been casted to be part of the show. According to her in an interview with IndieWire her character is an adaptation of herself. Their show revolves around a podcast, in which Longoria plays herself portraying Selena Gomez’s character named Mabel in a movie about the podcast. Especially the comedic lines of a script are something she loves finding. She said the showrunner, John Hoffman revealed that his husband was rolling on the floor while editing Episode 7. 

Star-Studded Cast 

Eva Longoria was equally happy when joining a cast that has other prominent actors. She also showed enthusiasm for the projects that will include manufacturing the big stars including but not limited to; Meryl Streep, Melissa McCarthy, Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. On set with these great actors she often felt like she was in a dream. 

Season 4 Plot 

In the new season, the main characters learn one day that a Hollywood studio is interested in producing a movie based on their podcast. More significantly, as they move in this glamorous setting which is LA, they are solving the mystery of Sazz (John Turturro), who was an aspiring actor and Charles’ (Steve Martin) stunt double. The blend of glamor-our Hollywood and mystery is something that would keep the fans fixed to their seats. 

This next only Murders in the Building season 4 will air on Hulu on the 27th of August. The feature of ‘Comedy’ is going to come across fully in this season which according to Eva Longoria is going to feature the best character any actress can ever portray on Television. With even bigger laughs, more mystery and even more stars, this season promises to be bigger than the one before. Do not miss the new adventures of the beloved trio in the new Hollywood.
