Triptii Dimri, the actress who captured hearts last year in the movie “Animal” opposite Ranbir Kapoor, is gearing up for the release of her new comedy film “Bad Newz.” Starring alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, Triptii is venturing into the comedy genre for the first time.
Comedy: A New Challenge for Triptii Dimri
Triptii Dimri has mainly been known for her roles in drama films like “Bulbbul” and “Qala.” However, stepping into comedy has presented her with a unique challenge. In a recent interview with IANS, she admitted that comedy is a difficult genre for her. She explained, “I have always done a lot of films in the drama genre, but I feel that as an actor, it is really important to keep doing different things and keep challenging yourself. I have found comedy a little difficult since the beginning.”

Despite the challenges, Triptii Dimri sees her work in “Bad Newz” as a positive experience. She shared that it was a good learning opportunity and that trying new genres helps her grow as an actress.

Looking Ahead: Diverse Roles in the Pipeline
Triptii is not stopping at comedy. She is eager to explore various genres, including action and more dramatic roles. After “Bad Newz,” she has several exciting projects lined up. She will be starring in “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” with Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. Additionally, she will appear in “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” and “Dhadak 2” with Siddhant Chaturvedi, directed by Shazia Iqbal.
