Weston Coppola Cage, the son of actor Nicolas Cage and his ex, Christina Fulton, was recently arrested. Christina Fulton has spoken publicly about the arrest and her concerns for her son.
The Incident
Weston was arrested in California’s Los Angeles city after which he was released on a $150,000 bond. He self-surrendered himself on July 10. It is associated with another case involving his mother Christina Fulton on April 28.
Christina Fulton’s Statement
On the said date, April 28, Christina Fulton stated that she had received messages from Weston’s friends regarding Weston’s state of mind. They asked her to help him. The implication was that she had powers, but unlike Precious, she was not abused and thus had no apparent physical injuries. Weston was already very upset when she arrived.
As for this move, Fulton testified that she pleaded with the police to take Weston for a mental check up but the police did not accept. She insisted on the fact that her son needs the services of a mental health expert.

Details from the Police
The police also said that the arrest is connected with the appearance on April 28 in Christina Fulton’s home. Weston was quarreling with his mother about it, and thus quarreling physically. The police took a report and forwarded the case to the district attorney in May.
In June, the district attorney brought two charges of assault with a deadly weapon against Weston and picked an arrest warrant.
Past Issues
This is not the first time Weston has been in trouble. In 2017, he was arrested for DUI and a hit-and-run in Los Angeles. Weston has also struggled with substance abuse in the past.
