Madalsa Sharma On Playing Kavya In Anupamaa: ‘I Totally Related To Her’

Madalsa Sharma, known for playing the role of Kavya in the popular television series Anupamaa, has garnered widespread recognition. Following the narrative leap in Anupamaa, viewers have witnessed Kavya grappling with unforeseen challenges. These include residing with the Shah family and being compelled to make the emotionally challenging choice of sending her daughter Maahi to a hostel due to the family’s reluctance to embrace her. In a recent interview, Madalsa Sharma shared insights into her profound connection with the character and the compelling trajectory that Kavya’s storyline has embarked upon.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Madalsa said, “As far as a professional independent woman of today, I related totally to her character, and at the same time Kavya has molded herself along with the situations required and she knows the value of family at the same time. As of now, the story is at a very early stage to comment on anything.”

Expressing sincere appreciation, the actress extended heartfelt gratitude to the creators of Anupamaa for choosing her to breathe life into a character replete with intricate shades and layers. Madalsa Sharma also confessed to thoroughly enjoying her time on the Anupamaa set. She added, “The love and response that I get from my fans is my biggest motivation which makes me want to give my best daily,” she added.

In the latest plot twist of Anupamaa, Adhik issues a stern warning to Vanraj (played by Sudhanshu Pandey), Pakhi (played by Chandni Bhagwanani), and other members of the Shah family, accusing them of keeping him separated from his daughter Ishaani. Adhik, portrayed by Adhik Mehta, emphasizes that, much like Vanraj yearns for his other children, he is equally determined to reintegrate Ishaani into his life. Concurrently, a new character, Yashpal’s brother Yashdeep, portrayed by Vaquar Shaikh, makes an entrance as a potential love interest for Anupamaa and her new boss.

Apart from Madalsa Sharma, Anupamaa stars Rupali Ganguli in the lead role. The ensemble cast also includes talented actors such as Sudhanshu Pandey, Sukriti Kandpal, Gaurav Khanna, Nidhi Shah, Alpana Buch, Aashish Mehrotra, and more.
