While they were filming, Emily Blunt claims Tom Cruise urged her to "stop being such a p****"


Throughout the making of their 2014 hit movie Edge of Tomorrow, Emily Blunt received some tough love from co-star Tom Cruise.

The actors were required to wear "enormous" suits throughout the arduous production of the science-fiction action movie.

which featured Blunt and Cruise.

In an interview with podcast presenters Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, Blunt said,

"We had to wear these big outfits, which I think would've been wonderful if we had CGI'd them.

"When you hear the word "tactile," you probably imagine something comfortable.

These outfits lacked any sense of coziness. It weighed about 85 pounds.

When I first put it on, I started to cry.

“I was like, ‘Tom, I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this shoot,’ and just started to cry,” Blunt recalled. “I said, ‘I’m feeling a bit panicky about the whole shoot.'”

He just stared at me for a long time, not knowing what to do, and he goes, "Come on, stop being such a p****, OK?" in response to Blunt's worries.
