Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram: These ancient temples in Tamil Nadu were built by the Pallava kings. The Shore Temple is the most famous, standing by the sea.

Kailasanatha Temple, Ellora: This massive temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is carved from a single piece of rock. It is a great example of ancient Indian architecture.

Rani Ki Vav: This stepwell in Gujarat, although not a traditional temple, is a UNESCO site. It has detailed carvings showing various gods and goddesses.
