International Film Festival of India Madhur

At the 53rd International Film Festival of India in Goa, Madhur Bhandarkar’s India Lockdown was shown to be one of the world’s best films.Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios, Bhandarkar Entertainment, and Pranav Jain’s PJ Motions Pictures are the film’s producers.

ZEE5, a streaming platform, announced on Friday that the film might win best picture at the upcoming festival, which will take place in Panaji, Goa, from November 20 to 28.The competition is held every year on November 20 and 28, and it is organized with the assistance of the Kingdom Government of Goa and the Directorate of Film Festivals, which is located beneath the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

India Lockdown, which will be directed by Madhur Bhandarkar

and based on actual events, will depict four separate stories and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Indians.The script was written by the director, Amit Joshi, and Aradhana Sah.Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, Shweta Basu Prasad, Prakash Belawadi, and Aahana Kumra all appear in the movie.

Because COVID brought us closer together and increased our power, this movie will resonate with every citizen worldwide.We talented comparative sentiments, dissatisfactions and vulnerabilities not at all like ever previously and India Lockdown will hold onto all that from there, the sky is the limit.The director released a statement in which he stated, “This movie is my lockdown toddler, and I am looking forward to showcasing it at IFFI where film fans from all over the world come together for their common ardor for storytelling.”

In the meantime, the critically acclaimed films RRR (2022) by S S Rajamouli, The Kashmir Files (2022) by Vivek Agnihotri, the effective courtroom drama Jai Bhim (2021) by Suriya, and Major (2022) by Adivi Sesh will all be shown at IFFI.
