Chiranjeevi : No differentiation should be made between films from South and North India

The Hindi trailer of South actor Chiranjeevi’s film God Father was released on Saturday, 2 October. And on this special occasion, there was a very good coincidence between Megastar Chiranjeevi and Bollywood actor Salman Khan. After that, Chiranjeevi said about the incident that happened some time ago that we felt very humiliated at one time. When Bollywood (Hindi cinema) itself was given the status of Indian cinema in a ceremony. After that Chiranjeevi said that my dream was to be successful in Hindi cinema which my son Ram Charan fulfilled.

Chiranjeevi told about the incident that took place in the National Film Awards convention of the year 1989, at that time my film Rudraveena was awarded the Nargis Dutt Award. And this time I saw a picture on a wall showing the history of Indian cinema. And in that picture only MGR, Jayalalithaa and Prem Nazir were among the South Indian actors. And I felt very bad seeing this. Because there only Hindi cinema (Bollywood) was given the status of Indian cinema.

Regarding South cinema, Chiranjeevi said that today films like Bahubali, KGF and RRR are being discussed all over the country. And all these films have become an Indian film apart from regional. And I am proud that today from South India actors to directors and writers are being discussed all over the country.

Every film should be an Indian film-

South’s megastar Chiranjeevi says that it is our wish that there should be no differences between Bollywood and Tollywood in films. All movies should be seen as Indian cinema(s). He further said that after working in more than 150 films, he has felt the same happiness during his film God Father as it was in the early days of his career.

Worked in 2 Hindi films-

The actor has got special recognition only from South’s films. He has done two films in the same Hindi cinema. Which proved to be a flop. Chiranjeevi started his career in Hindi cinema with the 1990 film Ban. And after that 4 years again worked in Gentleman. But here they could not get success. And his son Ram Charan also debuted in Bollywood with the film Zanjeer. In which Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt were seen with him. But this film could not be successful. After that in the year 2022, his film RRR was released, which was liked by the people.
