The film Zanjeer, released in the year 1973, was the first superhit film of Amitabh Bachchan. In the same year 1974, his film Roti Kapda Aur Makaan proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. The film had collected Rs 5.25 crore at the Indian box office at that time. The film was well liked by the audience. In this, actors like Manoj Kumar, Zeenat Aman and Shashi Kapoor were seen along with Amitabh Bachchan. The movie Roti Kapda Aur Makaan was directed by Manoj Kumar.

2. Sholay-

Sholay is the second blockbuster film of Amitabh Bachchan. This film is considered to be the hottest film of Bollywood. Because this film ran in theaters continuously for 1-2 years. Released in the year 1975, the film featured Dharmendra Lead, Amjad Khan and Hema Malini in lead roles with Amitabh Bachchan. The dialogues of this film are still viral on social media. Directed by Ramesh Shippy, the film did a business of Rs 15 crore at the box office.

3. Amar Akbar Anthony-

Amar Akbar Anthony was released in the year 1977. This film, directed by Mohanlal Desai, proved to be a blockbuster. Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, Parveen Babi, Shabana Azmi and Neetu Kapoor were in the film with Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan’s film Amar Akbar Anthony did a total business of Rs 7.25 crore. The film is currently available on MX Player, YouTube and Amazon Prime Video.

4. Muqaddar Ka Sikandar-

Released in the year 1978, the film Muqaddar Ka Sikandar is the fourth blockbuster film of actor Amitabh Bachchan. Which earned a total of Rs 8.50 crore at the Indian box office. Directed by Prakash Mehra, the film starred Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha in lead roles. Apart from this, actors like Amjad Khan, Vinod Khanna, Rakhi Gulzar and Kader Khan were seen. People liked this film very much. The film is available on YouTube and Prime Video.

5. Mohabbatein-

After the 70s, Amitabh Bachchan worked in many hit and flop films. And after 2 decades his film Mohabbatein proved to be a blockbuster. Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan were in this film. Apart from this there were actors like Uday Chopra, Aishwarya Roy, Kim Sharma and Jugal Hansraj. The film Mohabbatein, released in the year 2000, collected Rs 41.88 crore at the Indian box office and Rs 90 crore worldwide.
