In a video that went viral, Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid,
who was in charge of the jury for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa, harshly criticized the film.He stated, “We have all been disturbed and stunned with the aid of the movie The Kashmir Files” in the video.It appeared to us to be a vulgar, propagandistic film, which is completely irrelevant for the creative, aggressive section of any prestigious film festival.
Additionally, he stated, “I feel comfortable to share open feelings with you because the festival’s spirit can actually receive important discussion.”It is important to note that Anupam Kher, who also plays a role in the movie, attended the special screening.However, to this point, neither the director nor any of the movie’s actors have responded to Nadav’s comment.
