Ranbir Kapoor has been given Maharashtrian of the Year award by veteran actor Jitendra. On this occasion, veteran actor remembers his friend late Rishi Kapoor, father of Ranbir Kapoor.
At the award function, Jitendra awarded Animal movie fame star Ranbir Kapoor as the Maharashtrian of the Year award. Jitendra, the veteran actor, said at the function that he remembered his friend Rishi Kapoor. He also added that Rishi was his special friend. Jitendra is very happy that the award was given to his best friend’s son.
During the interview, Jitendra said, the award was the result of the hard work of Ranbir Kapoor. The jumping jack was happy to see that his friend i.e. Rishi Kapoor’s son was receiving the award by him. This is a yearly award, which is given to a celebrity of the year. This year, Maharashtrian of the year award is given to actor Ranbir Kapoor.
Jitendra and Rishi Kapoor were very famous in Bollywood for their friendship. According to Jitendra, “Rishi was a distinct actor with special acting skills. He plays the romantic roles in a realistic way”. “We got chances to work together”, he further added.
Ranbir was happy to receive the Maharashtrian of the Year award by his father’s friend Jitendra. He thanked to everyone for this opportunity.
