Bollywood actor Salman Khan is in the news for a serious issue. He received a death threat through a WhatsApp message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police. The sender demanded ₹5 crore (about $600,000) from him. The message warned that if Khan did not pay the money, his situation would be worse than that of Baba Siddique, a local politician who was recently killed.

The Mumbai Police have started an investigation into the threat. The sender claimed that for Salman Khan to stay safe and end his ongoing conflict with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, he must pay the demanded amount. The police are taking this threat seriously and are looking into it.
This threat comes shortly after the Navi Mumbai Police arrested a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with a plot to kill Salman Khan. The accused, named Sukha or Sukhbir Balbir Singh, was captured in Haryana. He allegedly planned the assassination with the help of gang members and was in contact with someone based in Pakistan.

The police have revealed that Sukha and others intended to use weapons like AK-47s to carry out their plan. After his arrest, Sukha is expected to be taken to court in Navi Mumbai.
This situation has escalated since earlier this year when the Navi Mumbai Police registered a case against members of the Bishnoi gang for planning to kill Salman Khan. Police have already arrested several gang members in connection with this conspiracy.
Salman Khan had reported earlier that he believed there were attempts on his life. He feels that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is responsible for the threats and actions against him and his family.
