Al Pacino wrote his autobiography partly for Roman, hoping to document his life so that his son can understand who he is as he grows up. “I hope I stay healthy, and he knows who his dad is,” Pacino said.

Pacino and Alfallah welcomed Roman in June 2023. A source told People that he was excited about fatherhood, as he has always loved being a dad.

In an earlier interview with The New York Times, Pacino mentioned that if he could choose a movie for Roman to watch, it would be Jack and Jill, a comedy featuring his cameo. He explained that he took that role during a challenging financial time, highlighting how important it was for him to be present in the industry.

Pacino’s reflections show his deep love for his son and his commitment to being a present father, even while managing the complexities of life and career.
