Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson Star in Song Sung Blue Musical Film about Love

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are set to star in a new musical movie, Song Sung Blue. The film tells the story of a real-life couple who created a Neil Diamond tribute band, Lightning & Thunder.

The movie will be directed by Craig Brewer, known for his work on Hustle and Flow. It is based on a 2008 documentary that shares the same name. Jackman will play Mike in the film, and Hudson will portray Clair Sabrina.

The story revolves around two struggling musicians, played by Jackman and Hudson, who form a tribute band, showing that it’s never too late to find love and pursue dreams.

Creg Kohs, who created the original documentary, will be an executive producer, along with Erika Hampson. The cast also includes actors like Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, and Jim Belushi.

Both Jackman and Hudson have significant experience in musical roles. Jackman has impressed audiences in films like The Greatest Showman and Les Misérables. Hudson, who recently released her album Glorious, has a strong connection to music and has expressed her lifelong love for it.

Jackman shared the announcement on his Instagram, saying, “Here we gooo,” alongside Hudson. More details about Song Sung Blue will be revealed soon, and fans are excited to see their favorite stars come together for this musical adventure.
