Baba Siddique, a former politician in Maharashtra, was shot dead on October 12, 2024. He was attacked in Bandra, Mumbai, with gunfire hitting his stomach and chest. His tragic death has shocked the nation.
Salman Khan Consoles Siddique Family
After hearing the news, actor Salman Khan visited Lilavati Hospital to comfort Siddique’s family. He arrived late at night, visibly upset by the incident. Salman wore a light blue T-shirt and drove in his black Range Rover.

Salman and Baba Siddique shared a close bond. The actor was often seen at Siddique’s annual Iftar gatherings, which were popular among Bollywood stars. Other celebrities, including Sanjay Dutt and Shilpa Shetty, also rushed to the hospital to pay their respects.
Siddique was shot six times while leaving his son Zeeshan’s office. He was immediately taken to the hospital but sadly passed away that night. Two suspects from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have been arrested, while one remains on the run.
Police reported that the attackers fired two to three shots at Siddique. Security has been increased around Lilavati Hospital following his death. Known for his large Iftar parties, Siddique had recently changed political parties, leaving the Congress party for Ajit Pawar’s faction of the NCP.
