Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, recently shared her thoughts on her mom’s cooking in a candid conversation. The 11-year-old revealed that her famous mother hasn’t cooked for the family in quite some time.
North Criticizes Kim Kardashian’s Cooking
During an interview for Interview magazine, Kim asked North what she thought about her cooking, and North humorously responded, “You haven’t cooked for us in a long time.” She mentioned that the last time Kim cooked was “two Halloweens ago,” when she made mac and cheese.
Kim, who shares North with rapper Ye (formerly Kanye West), reminded her daughter that she also made fried chicken and cornbread that day. Jokingly, Kim added, “I’m a one-trick pony. Is that one meal good?” North admitted the meal was “good” but added that her mom makes great cucumbers with salt.

North also revealed that if she had to choose one food to eat for the rest of her life, it would be cucumbers with salt, along with grilled onions. Kim confirmed her daughter’s love for onions, which has become a family favorite.
Interestingly, North’s younger sister, Chicago, had also teased Kim in 2023, saying that their mother relies on a private chef and doesn’t cook much for the family. The playful remarks about Kim’s cooking seem to be a running theme in the Kardashian household.
