ASAP Rocky recently shared his experiences of being a father in an interview with W Magazine. He opened up about his two sons, RZA, who is 2 years old, and Riot Rose, who is 14 months old. Rocky talked about how having children has changed his life and how each son takes after either him or their famous mother, Rihanna.
ASAP Rocky on Fatherhood
Rocky explained that becoming a dad has given him a new outlook on life. He mentioned that parenting comes with challenges, especially balancing work and family time. He said he hadn’t had time to go to the gym lately because he often leaves for work early and comes home late when his kids are already asleep. Despite these challenges, he feels the sacrifices are worth it.

In the interview, Rocky praised Rihanna for her parenting skills, saying that they both have their strengths. He believes that they complement each other in their roles as parents. Rocky stated, “I think we both have our niches, our things that we do that we’re good at.”
When asked about which son resembles him and which one resembles Rihanna, Rocky quickly described their personalities. He said that RZA is more introverted and takes after him. “RZA is going to keep to himself. He’s an introvert,” Rocky said, adding that RZA is like his twin. He also joked that RZA got his mother’s forehead, saying, “I love my boy’s big forehead!”
In contrast, Rocky mentioned that Riot Rose is more extroverted and resembles Rihanna. “Riot’s an extrovert—he’s just like his mom,” he explained. He enjoys seeing how different their personalities are and believes their bond as brothers will grow over time.
Rocky noticed that Riot looks up to RZA and believes their relationship will strengthen as they grow older. “I think RZA’s warming up to Riot,” he said, highlighting the developing bond between his two sons.
