Whoopi Goldberg recently responded to Zachary Levi’s claims that Hollywood is predominantly liberal. Levi, known for supporting former President Donald Trump, mentioned in a podcast that Hollywood’s liberal stance could be damaging to his career. He suggested that the entertainment industry overwhelmingly favors left-leaning ideologies.
Whoopi Goldberg vs. Zachary Levi
Goldberg accused Levi of his statement about Hollywood being completely liberal during her show on The View. As a reminder, she said that, historically, people in Hollywood did include right-minded people referring to the fact that Hollywood has always been an industry that is home to all sorts of opinions. According to Goldberg, “From the time it began, Hollywood has not been a political-free Zone – people of different political leanings have worked to create Hollywood.”

In an effort to substantiate this statement Goldberg talked about other actors-Dennis Quaid, Jon Voight all of whom are vocal Republicans that have not only continued working in Hollywood but also prospered. She claimed that these examples can prove that Hollywood does not belong to a single political side.
For their part, TV show The View also backfired, as Joy Behar mentioned that even artists of the liberal-leaning, including Chappell Roan, are stifled for their concerns about both parties. Behar said that he has been having this attitude in industries and it is not, in fact, that one-sided as Levi said.
Zachary Levi has done some news Heathens about vaccines and other political matters that have been welcomed differently. In this latest step, his statements regarding the political state of Hollywood have given birth to a discourse on the diversity of opinion among entertainment industry participants.
The final step that Goldberg did was stressing the notion that one cannot talk about Hollywood as a single unified whole, and there are multiple interconnected players in the political life of the industry. It surprised her to learn that what is called Hollywood is not exclusively one political view and everybody can be a part of it and work.
