Shazam star Zachary Levi is facing strong criticism after publicly supporting Donald Trump during a rally in Michigan on September 28, 2024. Levi attended the rally to moderate a discussion between Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard. During the event, Levi expressed that while he initially wanted to vote for RFK Jr., he would now support Trump since RFK Jr. had withdrawn his independent presidential run and endorsed Trump.
Zachary Levi Endorses Trump
Despite supporting RFK Jr in the past, the crowd heard Levi’s political stance, saying he is from a conservative Christian family and has always been wary of government interference. He said that although he could not vote for the candidate he would like to see in the presidency this time, Trump can help stave off the decline of the United States and has faith in the president.

However, Levi’s free association with Trump fueled contempt on the social media stage. Some of the audience insulted the actor calling his political choice shameful and embarrassing. On this, some people raised a concern asking why Levi had in the past taken time to condemn Trump. Some of them were unhappy with Levi for supporting Trump for president because they believed it would ruin his acting opportunities.
Levi has also been involved in other issues recently as he made his stand on issues such as bashing manufacturers of Covid-19 vaccines, and SAG-AFTRA strike issues. His recent political comments that marked the turning point pushed fans and critics into disappointment nor endorsing the president Trump.
