Fact Check: Is Sean Diddy Combs' Late Ex Kim Porter's Memoir Fake? Here's What We Know

A new memoir titled Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey For Justice, From the Other Side…, claiming to be authored by Kim Porter, the late ex-girlfriend of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, is under scrutiny. Diddy’s attorney and close friends of Porter have called the book “fake” and “offensive.”

Kim Porter’s Memoir Fake?

The memoir was published on September 6, 2024, on Amazon and quickly became a bestseller. However, it contains serious allegations, including details about Diddy and other celebrities, as well as claims of abuse. Diddy’s legal team has strongly denied these claims, calling the book a “shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.” The rapper’s lawyer pointed out that Porter passed away from natural causes, and the allegations in the memoir are entirely fabricated.

The memoir was allegedly written by Jamal T. Millwood for Kim Porter and self-published by Chris Todd (real name Todd Guzze). However, people close to Porter’s family, including her ex-husband Al B. Sure and her friend Eboni Elektra, have publicly dismissed the book as fake and unauthorized. They emphasize that Porter never wrote any such memoir and that Todd has no connection to her or her family.

As of now, Porter’s family is considering legal action to stop the book and hold those responsible accountable. The book has caused significant distress to Porter’s loved ones, as it misrepresents her life and legacy.
