In a recent interview, Om Raut stated, “Actors like Prabhas and Salman Khan are flop-proof stars. They have a big fan following, a certain image, and perception that doesn’t get affected by a few flops. They are beyond just box office numbers.”
Salman Khan is gearing up for his next big film, “Sikandar,” directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar. “Sikandar” is set to hit theaters on Eid 2025, and it promises to be an action-packed entertainer.
Salman recently started a 45-day shooting schedule for “Sikandar” in Mumbai on August 26, 2024. According to sources, the production team has built an elaborate set in Mumbai that replicates different parts of the city. This set plays a key role in the movie, as it will be used for filming intense action sequences as well as emotional, dramatic scenes.
After finishing the Mumbai schedule, the team plans to shoot the next segment of the movie at an Indian palace, which will add to the film’s grandeur. This phase of filming is expected to begin in November.
Salman Khan will portray Sikandar, a character that embodies traits of arrogance and pride. Sources reveal that his role reflects a person from a royal background, showing a complex mix of anger and arrogance. This will be an exciting change for fans, as the last time Salman played a “bad boy” character was in “Sultan.”
With the Eid 2025 release date approaching, fans are eagerly waiting to see Salman Khan in this intriguing role, and Om Raut’s praise only adds to the excitement surrounding both Khan and Prabhas as enduring stars of Indian cinema.
