What Happened to Varun Dhawan’s Daughter Lara
Varun Dhawan revealed that his daughter Lara was diagnosed with DDH (Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip) when she was around 1.5 years old. This condition affects the hip joint, making it difficult for a child to walk or run properly.
He explained in simple terms that one leg can become slightly shorter, which causes imbalance while walking. Because of this, Lara was facing trouble with basic movements at a very young age.
Treatment and Difficult Phase for Lara
To treat the condition, Lara had to undergo a medical procedure. After that, she had to stay in a special cast, known as a spica cast, for about two and a half months. This was a very challenging time for the family.
Varun shared that seeing his little daughter in a cast after anesthesia was emotionally tough. It was not easy for a parent to watch their child go through such discomfort at such a young age.
