Hari Murali came from a family deeply connected to the world of theatre and cinema. He was the son of veteran theatre and film actor K. U. Murali, popularly known as Payyannur Murali.
His father has been active in theatre for almost three decades, performing in many stage productions and contributing to the cultural scene in Kerala.
Hari’s mother is Prasanna, and he is survived by his brother Sreemurali. Actor Ganapathi, who appeared in the popular Malayalam film Manjummel Boys, is also related to Hari Murali.
Hari Murali’s Journey as a Child Actor
Hari Murali began his acting journey at a very young age. He first appeared in television serials when he was just four and a half years old. Director A. M. Naseer gave him a small role in a TV serial, which marked the start of his career.
His first film appearance was in the Malayalam movie Rasikan, which featured actor Dileep. Even though the film did not perform well at the box office, Hari’s performance as a child artist received appreciation.
After his debut, Hari Murali appeared in several Malayalam films. Some of his notable projects include Annan Thambi, Madampi, Don, Pattanathil Bhootham, and Ulakham Chuttum Valiban.
