The upcoming Bollywood action film Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, is already creating huge excitement before its theatrical release. Even though the film is still several days away from hitting theatres, advance booking for Dhurandhar 2 has started strongly across many cities in India.
The film will be released in cinemas on March 19, while paid preview shows will begin on the evening of March 18. Despite unusually high ticket prices, a large number of shows have already been sold out, showing the massive anticipation around the movie.
Dhurandhar 2 Ticket Prices Reach Premium Range
One of the most surprising aspects of the film’s early booking is the very high ticket prices in major cities. In many multiplexes across metro cities, regular seats for preview shows are being sold between ₹600 and ₹900.
Premium formats like IMAX and Dolby Cinema are priced even higher. In some locations, ticket prices have crossed ₹1000, making it one of the most expensive Bollywood movie screenings in recent times.
Luxury recliner seats have gone to another level. At INOX Megaplex in Borivali, Mumbai, recliner tickets are priced at ₹3100, which is currently the highest recorded price for the film. In Delhi’s PVR Select City Walk, recliner tickets have reached ₹2400. Even with these high prices, many of the preview shows are already sold out or close to full.
Dhurandhar 2 Advance Booking Collection
The strong demand for tickets has pushed Dhurandhar 2 advance booking collections to impressive numbers. The film has already sold around three lakh tickets in India even before the preview shows begin.
These early bookings have generated more than ₹15 crore from the domestic market. This is already one of the biggest premiere collections for a Bollywood film, and the numbers are expected to grow further as the release date comes closer.
The average ticket price for the film’s Hindi version is around ₹418, which is noticeably higher than usual Bollywood ticket rates. Premium formats such as Dolby Cinema have an average ticket price close to ₹759.
Different Ticket Prices Across Languages
The film will also be released in multiple languages, and ticket prices vary for each version. The Kannada dubbed version has an average ticket price of about ₹445, while the Telugu version is priced around ₹230.
The Tamil dubbed version remains the most affordable among the languages, with an average ticket price around ₹166, mainly because of pricing limits in certain regions.

Ranveer Singh Returns As Indian Spy
In Dhurandhar 2, Ranveer Singh returns as a powerful Indian spy in a high-stakes action story. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar, known for creating large-scale action dramas.
The cast also includes R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Danish Pandor, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun, bringing together a strong lineup of actors.
The first film in the franchise was a massive success and earned around ₹1300 crore worldwide, becoming one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films ever. Because of that success, expectations for the sequel are extremely high.
