Punjabi actress and Bigg Boss 13 contestant Himanshi Khurana is reportedly facing a shocking extortion threat of Rs 10 crore. This latest incident has raised concerns as it bears similarities to the threats received by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Extortion Threat to Himanshi Khurana
Himanshi Khurana, known for movies like Sadda Haq, Leather Life, 2 Bol, and Shava Ni Girdhari Lal, recently received a threatening email demanding Rs 10 crore. The email reportedly included a voice message that demanded payment, creating panic for the actress.
Following this, Himanshi approached the Mohali police, leading to the registration of an FIR at Sohana police station. The police confirmed that the case was filed under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) concerning extortion and criminal intimidation.
Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Saurav Jindal revealed that the threatening voice note was allegedly sent by a gangster operating from overseas. This has made authorities take the matter seriously, and an investigation is currently underway.
Parallels With Ranveer Singh’s Threat
This incident is eerily similar to what Ranveer Singh experienced recently. A gangster linked to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly sent a voice message to Ranveer, demanding money. The same gangster, known as Harry Boxer, is believed to be operating from outside India.
