Mona Singh plays Sub-Inspector Dhanwant Kaur, a strong yet deeply broken woman. She is still struggling with the loss of her son, who died in a road accident. Her pain is visible in her silent moments, especially when she waits at a bus stop, holding on to memories of the past.

Barun Sobti returns as Assistant Sub-Inspector Amarpal Garundi. In this season, he tries to move on from his past and build a peaceful life with his wife, Silky. However, his guilt over a past relationship continues to trouble him.
Garundi’s journey is about facing mistakes and accepting responsibility. Barun plays this role with quiet intensity. His expressions often speak louder than his dialogue, especially in emotional scenes at home.
The partnership between Garundi and Dhanwant slowly grows stronger. At first, there is hesitation and ego, but over time they begin to respect and support each other.
