Tamil and Malayalam film actress Anju Krishna has come under legal trouble after being arrested in a drug-related case in Chennai. The arrest took place during a targeted operation carried out by the Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit (ANIU) South team in the Valasaravakkam area of the city.
Anju Krishna was taken into custody along with seven others, including assistant director Vincy Nivetha. The case has drawn attention from the film industry as well as the general public due to Anju’s work in regional cinema.
What Was Recovered During the Raid?
During the operation, officials recovered several banned substances and items from the location. The seized materials included small quantities of methamphetamine, OG ganja, cannabis, and an LSD stamp. Along with the drugs, nine mobile phones were also taken as part of the investigation.
Authorities stated that all eight individuals were detained for further questioning and legal procedures. The investigation is currently ongoing, and officials are examining the source and distribution links connected to the seized substances.

Names of Those Taken Into Custody
Apart from Anju Krishna, the people taken into custody include Vincy Nivetha, Karthik Raja, Yashwant, Sriram, Alvibinsha, and Venkatesh Kumar. The group is being questioned to understand their individual roles in the case.
The arrests were made on the same day as the raid, and the individuals were presented for further legal action as per procedure.
