Lily from AT&T Raises Over $500K for LA Wildfire Victims Through Creative Photo Fundraiser

Milana Vayntrub, best known as “Lily from AT&T,” has found a creative and surprising way to help people affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Instead of relying on traditional charity methods, she launched a project called Only Philanthropy, which uses attention and humor to raise real money for people in need. Her idea has already raised more than $500,000 for wildfire victims, turning an unusual concept into meaningful support.

After seeing how badly families were affected by the fires, Vayntrub realized that many people needed immediate cash help. She decided to offer “flirty but tasteful” photos of herself in exchange for donations. She clearly stated that there would be no nudity, keeping the project playful rather than explicit. The goal was simple: give supporters something fun while quickly raising money for urgent causes. What started as an experiment soon became a powerful fundraising success.

The first campaign focused on helping a single mother named Bridget Bradley, who lost her home in the Eaton wildfire. Within just four days, the fundraiser collected around $170,000. This money helped cover housing, medical care, and transportation for her family, including her young son who has cerebral palsy. Thousands of people donated, showing that many were willing to support a good cause in a creative way.

Encouraged by the strong response, Vayntrub launched a second fundraising drive during the summer. This time, it raised about $350,000 in one week. The funds were given to My Tribe Rise, a local nonprofit helping elderly, disabled, and underinsured residents rebuild their lives after the fires. The organization provided direct grants to people who needed help the most, making the impact fast and personal.

Vayntrub now plans to grow Only Philanthropy even further. She hopes to involve other creators and support more causes, including climate action and social justice. For her, the project proves that attention can be turned into action. By mixing creativity, kindness, and a bit of humor, she showed that helping others does not always have to follow traditional paths what matters most is the real change it creates.
