K-pop girl group Fifty Fifty has had a busy and exciting first year with their new lineup. Since their comeback with the pre-release single Starry Night last August, the group has released several songs and performed on stage, constantly growing as artists. In a recent interview, member Keena said it felt like they had been “running nonstop,” but their fans, called Twenys, always supported them, giving the group motivation and strength.

The group faced challenges during this period, including the changes in their lineup. Three original members left after a legal dispute, and new members Yewon, Hana, Chanelle Moon, and Athena joined in 2024. Despite the difficulties, the group adapted quickly, learning to work together and support each other. Member Yewon explained that challenges helped them grow stronger and improved their mindset and mental strength.

The members also shared how they cope with burnout and personal stress. Athena, the youngest member, emphasized the importance of taking personal time to recharge. Most of the group are introverts, so balancing personal space with constant group activities is important for their wellbeing. However, their energy as a team often shifts naturally, allowing them to support each other and adjust roles during performances.
Fifty Fifty has also experimented with new musical styles. Their latest single album, Too Much Part 1, features songs like Eeny Meeny Miny Moe, which has a dreamy feel, and Skittlez, a trendy hip-hop track. Members Hana and Athena enjoyed exploring different styles, showing fans that the group is versatile and willing to try new concepts. They plan to continue experimenting with music and visuals while keeping their unique style, known as “Fiftypop.”

The group has also sent messages to their fans in Singapore, expressing excitement to meet them and share their music and energy. Fifty Fifty’s first year shows their determination, teamwork, and passion for music, promising a bright future ahead.
