Polling for the election is being conducted across 615 stations throughout Hong Kong. Voting began at 7:30 a.m. and will continue until 11:30 p.m., providing a 16-hour window for citizens to cast their votes. This is two hours longer than the previous election, allowing more people the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.

Four hours after the polls opened, the voter turnout in geographical constituencies had already reached 10.33%. This accounts for 426,900 ballots recorded, showing early engagement from Hong Kong citizens. Officials hope that the extended voting hours will result in a higher overall turnout by the end of the day.
