Some even worried about the health risks, warning that finger piercings can easily get infected or fail to heal properly because hands are used constantly.
Experts from jewelry companies like Lulu Ave have previously explained that dermal piercings on fingers can be risky since they are prone to snagging, irritation, and infection. Reddit users echoed those concerns, pointing out that North, being only 12, might not be able to properly care for the piercings during the healing stage. Some feared that she could develop an infection due to her young age and lack of experience handling such body modifications.
