Frehley’s family had earlier shared that he had recently experienced a fall before his death. In their emotional statement, they said they were by his side in his final moments, surrounding him with love, peace, and prayers. “We cherish his laughter, memories, and kindness,” the family said. They also called his passing “a loss of epic proportions,” showing how deeply he was loved by his fans and family. Frehley was 74 years old at the time of his death.
Before his passing, the guitarist had canceled his remaining 2025 shows because of ongoing health issues. In September, he was hospitalized after what was described as a “minor fall” in his studio. Although his team initially said he was fine, doctors advised him to rest and avoid touring. Sadly, less than a month later, he suffered another fall that ultimately caused his death.
