She has accused Renner of sending her explicit photos and videos, behaving aggressively while drunk, and later threatening her when their relationship ended. Yi Zhou, who worked with Renner on a documentary and an animated film, said their professional relationship turned uncomfortable and frightening. In an interview, she described an incident during a meeting at Renner’s home where he allegedly drank an entire bottle of wine and shouted at her for hours. Zhou said she feared for her safety, locked herself in a room, and shared her location with her team and family in case something went wrong. She also shared messages showing she was scared and hiding while he continued yelling.
According to Zhou, this was not an isolated incident. She claimed that Jeremy Renner sent her intimate pictures and pornographic videos soon after they began working together. On social media, she wrote that she had lived in fear and distress for a long time and felt she could no longer stay silent. Zhou said Renner had initially told her he was single and looking for a serious relationship, but later denied both their personal and professional connection.
The filmmaker also alleged that when she confronted Renner privately about his behavior, he threatened to report her to immigration authorities. She described this as a deeply shocking moment and said no woman should have to work under such emotional pressure. Screenshots of their text messages reportedly show heated exchanges, including Renner’s partial threat to contact immigration officials. Zhou said his behavior caused her serious personal and professional harm, especially to the projects they had worked on together.

As of now, Jeremy Renner has not responded publicly to the accusations. His representatives have also declined to comment.
