The romantic comedy has achieved a major milestone by crossing the Rs 100-crore mark worldwide within just six days of its release. With this, Pradeep has scored a rare hat-trick in three consecutive films that have each earned over Rs 100 crore globally. The young actor thanked his fans and the film industry for their constant love and support, calling the success a “collective celebration.”

He also acknowledged his growing fanbase in Kerala, Karnataka, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, and North America, appreciating their continued support.

Dude, directed by Keerthiswaran and co-starring Mamitha Baiju, tells the story of two childhood friends whose bond is tested after a marriage proposal reveals hidden family secrets. The film also features Sarathkumar and Rohini in important roles. Its mix of humor, emotional storytelling, and strong performances has connected with both youth and family audiences, helping it perform exceptionally well at the box office.
This remarkable success adds to Pradeep Ranganathan’s growing list of blockbuster achievements. His debut as an actor and director came with Love Today, which collected around Rs 107 crore worldwide. His next film, Dragon, released in early 2025, went on to earn over Rs 150 crore globally. With Dude, Pradeep has now become one of the youngest Tamil actors to deliver three Rs 100-crore hits in a row.

Pradeep began his journey in cinema as a director with the 2019 film Comali, where he also made a small cameo appearance. His next project, titled LIK (Love Insurance Kompany), is already in the works and set for release next year.
