Tamil superstar Silambarasan TR, popularly known as STR, and the talented filmmaker Vetri Maaran are teaming up for an exciting new movie titled Arasan in Tamil. The film has now been officially confirmed to release in Telugu under the title Saamrajyam. This marks the 49th film in STR’s career, making it a special milestone for the actor.

According to the latest update from the makers, the promo of Saamrajyam will be released tomorrow at 10:07 AM, and it will be a major surprise for Telugu fans Jr NTR has lent his voice for the promo. His powerful voiceover is expected to give the Telugu version an emotional and impactful touch. Alongside this, the Tamil promo will also be launched online at the same time.
Vetri Maaran, known for his intense storytelling and realistic filmmaking in movies like Asuran and Vada Chennai, is directing this film. The collaboration between him and STR has already raised huge expectations among both Tamil and Telugu audiences. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is reportedly in talks to play the female lead, although an official confirmation is still awaited.
