Raju Talikote, a beloved Kannada comedian and theatre artist, passed away at the age of 59. He was known for his unique sense of humour and memorable performances on stage and in films. Raju had been receiving treatment at Manipal Hospital for age-related health issues but, sadly, could not recover. His son, Bharat Talikote, confirmed his passing and said that the final rites would take place at their farm in Chikkasindhagi village, Vijayapura district.

His family included five children—two sons and three daughters—and they all shared a close bond, often participating in theatre together.

In an interview, he said, “I married both out of love.” His first wife, Prema Talikote, was the mother of three children: Bharathraj, Dhaval, and Heena. His second wife, Prema Sindhanur, had two daughters: Shajida and Shabbu. The family lived harmoniously, and Raju’s dedication to maintaining this balance was admired by many.
The comedian also surprised fans with anecdotes about his family. For instance, he once revealed that his grandson and son were only a week apart in age, a story that astonished audiences on Bigg Boss. These personal stories showcased his warmth and the unique dynamics of his household.
