Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently spoke about her parenting style and how it differs from that of her husband, Saif Ali Khan. In a conversation on her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan’s podcast All About Her, Kareena revealed that she is often a “helicopter mom,” while Saif takes a more relaxed approach with their children, Taimur and Jeh.

Kareena Kapoor explained that being a mother for the first time has been a learning experience for her. “Both Saif and I are very different. He has been a father before, so he is more experienced. My journey is new every day,” she said. She praised Saif as a loving, caring, and brave father who is always there for their kids.
The actress added that she tends to be overprotective, planning their daily routines, meals, and activities. On the other hand, Saif focuses on playing with the children, teaching them sports, and encouraging musical interests like guitar and drums. Kareena said that while she organizes and supervises, Saif makes their children feel comfortable and enjoys spending playful moments with them.

Kareena also shared a fun insight about their parenting: both she and Saif enjoy a playful competition over who gets more hugs from Taimur and Jeh. “If they hug me more, he sulks. If they hug him more, I sulk. It’s fun and part of learning together as parents,” she said.
She further explained that while they share a friendly and playful relationship with their sons, when it comes to discipline, Saif often takes the lead. The children seem slightly more intimidated by him, which helps maintain balance in parenting.

Kareena and Saif have been married since October 2012. They welcomed their first son, Taimur, in December 2016, and their second son, Jeh, in February 2021. The couple balances their professional and personal lives while giving their children love, care, and guidance.
